If you’ve read the Who Is SocialPMChick tab, then you already know I work full time as a Social Media & Marketing Manager at SIGMA Marketing Group and as part of that maintain our corporate blog Fifth Gear Analytics.  I am so blessed to have a job that is fulfilling and ever evolving!  In my spare time, I moonlight doing some web development and social strategy work for small and niche businesses.  Here are a few of my recent projects.

We are getting ready to move our new work portfolio over to www.BigMotorMedia.com.  Stay tuned!

www.helparoundthemouse.com

The folks at Help Around The Mouse changed the name of their business, and in doing so needed a new look and feel to their Website.

This web project was an absolute delight to work on.  The folks at Help Around The Mouse offer us Disney World Tour Plans and Walt Disney Work Park Itineraries for an unbelievably reasonable price.

The site features some frequently asked questions about planning a Disney World vacation, as well as snipped about the types of clue-ins (or REALLY helpful Disney World insights) you get when using Help Around The Mouse.

You can also find them on Facebook, Twitter and their brand new blog “The Mouse Helper.”

JMC Custom Cakes www.jmccustomcakes.com

This project included the web site design and construction based on local search optimization, as well as a simple portfolio format that could be easily expanded as the customer’s portofolio of custom desserts expands.

Search optimization has been very successful, and business generated through web continues to increase. Site website launched in December 2009 and traffic steadily increases month over month.

Another key component of this project has been full integration with social networking sites including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Flickr.

Overcoming the Darkness website www.overcomingthedarkness.com

This project was a redesign of an out-dated website that was clunky, with confusing navigation.

The goal was to simplify the navigation based on 3 target audiences.

One of the primary objectives was that the client be able to update the ‘upcoming events’ as needed using Adobe Contribute. As a result, a simple and clean web layout was created to enable easy editing.

This redesigned site launched in March, 2010.

Please note, this site is maintained and updated by the staff at Overcoming the Darkness.

Edward Gucker Legal website www.guckerlegal.com

This is a brand new website which just launched in June of 2010.

Edward A Gucker, Attorney started a new practice and needed a website to promote is local legal practice in Rochester, NY.

This site is built for local search optimization in the Rochester, NY area.

We continue to work on a content strategy to create additional relevant content that will further enhance search optimization efforts.

Eletrical Contractor Website www.mrtelectric.com

This was an early project that launched in October or 2009. Customer was paying to be listed on a trade website and decided he would like to have his own web presence.

This website includes social integration with a Facebook fan page, as well as portofolio photos in Flickr.

This site is a work in progress. The project portfolio needs to be expanded up to provide better search optimization, as well as additional supportive content.
