This week I embarked on a new venture – video blogging.  Many social media enthusiasts and subject matter experts on a variety of topics have been doing this for quite some time, and yes, I admit… I’m late to join the game. The truth is, I am not huge on public speaking, but it is something I would like to be better at.

In doing this, I’ve already noticed that I say “um” a lot.  If you go to my YouTube Channel and watch the first few you’ll see what I mean.  The one below is only my 4th installment, and it has far less “ums” in it, so I know this has already been a useful exercise.

So this week I started creating these daily short blog entries.  I have not yet settled on a content theme for these video blog entries.  Rather, they are a reflection of who I am, my personality, what I believe in, and mashed together with topics including NASCAR and artichokes… (You have to watch them to understand) – but this is today’s entry…

I am looking to grow my big fat chunky pen collection.  Why you might ask?  Well you need to watch this to truly understand:

If you send me one of your pens I will blog about it and will talk about your business.  A little free advertising for you! (Well not free because of the cost of postage and the pen itself.)

Let’s see how many promotional pens I can collect in the next 30 days!  The challenge is on.
