What’s in a Name? “SocialPMChick”

wkbThere has been some debate about the meaning of “SocialPMChick” – as I suppose the “PM” could be construed a few different ways – so let’s have some fun with it.

To clarify – I consider myself to be of the “social” persuasion – meaning I will converse with pretty much any being that breathes in air.  I love to meet new people and engage in conversation and learn what others are passionate about and what makes them tick.

If you’ve looked at my profile picture you will also find that I am of the female persuasion – thus the “chick”.  Simple as that.

Now as for the “PM” – here’s what it does NOT stand for:

  • Post Mortem (as for now I am still breathing)
  • Pre Menstral (no comment)
  • Prime Minister (do I LOOK like a member of Parliament?)
  • Postmaster (I may be postal some days but I’m not tms_pacmanhe postmaster)
  • Particulate Matter (though this could be challenged)
  • Police Magistrate (though my children may tell you differently)
  • Postmistress (hehe – we’ll leave that one alone)
  • PacMan (we’ll that’s MS PacMan to you)
  • Perpetual Motion (though some days….)
  • Proto-Manenguba  (say what?)

And the most popular misconception for PM has been Post Meridiem – though this could be argued since a majority of my tweets and social media activities tend to occur between 12:00 Noon and 11:59 PM.  But…

The PM stands for PROJECT MANAGEMENT.  The past 13+ years of my life have been working in internet development, marketing and project management.    So…….  I consider myself to be one hip chick with a background in project management.  ”SocialPMChick”

Did I miss a “PM” that perhaps you thought of?  Leave me a comment – but keep it clean please!  :)
